Come one, come all to our 2nd annual Square Dance weekend!
Get on your big shoes, get on your gown
Shake off your sad blues, the big ball’s in town
The Big Ball’s in Bulltown, the Big Ball’s in town
The Big Ball’s in Bulltown, we’ll dance around.
That’s right folks, we’re fusing the finest fiddlers and the pick-of-the litter callers to give you a winter weekend of blazing-hot hoedowns, tinder two-steps and wood-stove waltzes. And if that ain’t got you fired up, how about the clatter of cloggers, the cajoling of Cajun dancing, or workshops on dance calling, percussive dance, to ignite your interest?
Nightly dances and Saturday workshops at the Old Murphy School.
3717 Murphy School Rd, Durham, NC 27705
All are welcome. No experience required.
Get down. Get inspired to call or host a dance. Learn about traditional square dances in Piedmont, NC. Bring your love for old-time music to the party. Good food and good friends. Plenty of space for jamming on the grounds all weekend.
