Friends of NC Squares, Jonathan and Megan Leiss, have asked us to share you with details and a flyer for an upcoming benefit dance at Episcopal Church of the Advocate in Chapel Hill on Sep. 23rd.
We are organizing a square dance, potluck, and silent auction at the Episcopal Church of the Advocate on Sept. 23 at 6PM with The Hushpuppies and caller Nancy Mamlin. The dance is a benefit for our friends, the Plourde Family, to support them as Aaron Plourde undergoes treatment for cancer. The dance should be a lot of fun and we want to get the word out to the dance community. There is more information on the attached flyer.

We promote square dancing and old-time music and the enjoyment which they provide among the people of North Carolina - in particular, Southern old-time music and traditional square dancing of Piedmont NC and Southern Appalachia among people in The Research Triangle Region (Durham, Orange, Wake, and Chatham Counties).
